Shipping
- Across the website, badges and banners (e.g., Ships within 3 days) use calendar days—weekends included. An order placed on Friday will leave the studio by Monday.

Ready-to-ship items leave the studio no later than 2 calendar days.

Made-to-order items leave no later than 3 calendar days.

If your cart has both types, the order leaves together on the made-to-order timeline.

Shipped via trusted carriers (USPS or FedEx for U.S.) with tracking provided on all orders. Details for international destinations are provided in the section that follows.

Standard shipping times vary depending on destination; tracking details will be provided once your order ships.

Domestic shipping is available to all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO).

The Happy Gems is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs once your package has been dispatched.
International Shipping
The Happy Gems ships internationally to Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, and all European Union member states.

All international orders are shipped standard via DHL (Canada via USPS or UPS), with full tracking provided.

All international packages are fully insured to their declared value — your purchase is protected from the moment it leaves my studio.

In the rare event your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact me within the timeframes outlined in my Refund Policy so I can initiate a claim on your behalf and make it right.

Estimated delivery times vary by destination and are subject to carrier schedules and customs processing.
Duties, Taxes & Customs
International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees assessed upon delivery by their country's customs authority. These charges are not included in your order total and are not collected by The Happy Gems at checkout. I am unable to predict or advise on the amount you may be charged, as fees vary by country, order value, and applicable regulations.
For EU member state customers: Value Added Tax (VAT) and any applicable customs fees will be assessed by your country's customs authority upon arrival and must be paid before your package is released for delivery.
For customers in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland: Import duties and taxes will be assessed by your country's customs authority upon arrival and must be paid before your package is released for delivery.
For customers in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand: Import duties and taxes may be assessed by your country's customs authority depending on the value of your order. Any applicable charges must be paid before your package is released for delivery.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
Refused & Abandoned Packages
If a package is refused at delivery or abandoned at customs, the following applies:

Refunds will only be issued once the package has been safely returned to my studio in its original condition.

The original outbound shipping cost, including carrier fees, insurance to full declared value, and signature confirmation charges, are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund along with any return shipping costs incurred.

If the package is not returned to me, no refund will be issued.

The Happy Gems is not responsible for packages lost or delayed during the return journey following a refusal.
