Sterling Silver Aquamarine Pendant Necklace

Sterling silver pendant necklace featuring a rough aquamarine crystal set on a hand-reticulated and fused silver surface. Entirely handmade, this one-of-a-kind piece brings together raw mineral beauty and sculptural metalwork in a design that feels both organic and refined.

The pendant begins as a sheet of sterling silver that is repeatedly heated to create a reticulated surface—subtle ripples, folds, and natural movement formed directly in the metal. Additional silver is then fused onto the surface, building quiet dimension and depth. The result is a textured, almost landscape-like backdrop that contrasts beautifully with the clean, linear form of the stone.

The aquamarine crystal, measuring approximately 15mm x 6mm, is left in its natural rough form. It displays a noticeably saturated blue tone with a level of clarity that allows light to move through the stone, giving it a soft, luminous quality. Aquamarine is the blue variety of the beryl family, valued for its serene color and clarity.

On the reverse, small fused sterling silver spheres remain visible—an intentional detail that enhances the piece’s sculptural quality and reinforces its handcrafted nature from every angle.

The pendant measures approximately 25mm x 11mm and is suspended from a sterling silver oval cable chain, finished with a spring ring clasp. The chain length is approximately 19.5", offering a comfortable, slightly longer drape that complements the vertical shape of the pendant.
