This one-of-a-kind necklace is a petite strand of genuine Italian coral, finished with a single hand-hammered vermeil bead at the center. The small coral beads, approximately 3.5–4mm each, have the rich, saturated red that Italian coral is treasured for, and their slightly irregular shapes give the strand a soft, natural texture.

The 7mm round vermeil focal bead has a hammered surface that catches the light as you move. Vermeil is solid sterling silver with a thick layer of gold on top, so the metal beneath the gold is precious silver rather than brass or another base metal. Tiny diamond-cut vermeil beads are spaced along the strand in small clusters, adding flecks of warm sparkle against the red.

The necklace measures approximately 16.75" and closes with a 14K gold-filled hook clasp. It rests just below the collarbone, where the vermeil bead sits as a quiet focal point.

Simple enough to wear every day and vivid enough to stand on its own, it also layers beautifully with fine gold chains and pendants for a warm, coastal look.
